The Mission

At Pups for People, we believe having a disability should never mean facing unnecessary barriers to service dog resources, education, or community support.

Our mission is to help disabled individuals access essential service dog equipment such as guide harnesses and free training opportunities, educate young people and businesses about service animals and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and foster a society where service dog teams are understood, respected, and welcomed everywhere.

Through community outreach, youth volunteer programs, and donations, we strive to make a meaningful difference for service dog handlers and the communities they call home.

What We Do

Education & Awareness

We bring educational spokespeople to schools and youth groups across the United States, teaching students about service animals, disability awareness, appropriate public interactions, and the ADA. Through these assemblies, we can help build a more welcoming world for service dog teams one town at a time.

Youth for Change

We empower young volunteers to make a difference through hands-on community projects. Volunteers create dog toys for donation to service dog handlers and animal shelters, turning creativity and compassion into practical support for animals and the people who care for them.

Equipment Assistance

Quality equipment such as guide harnesses, double hook leashes, and dog boots can be an important part of a service dog's working life. Through donations, we aim to provide eligible handlers with service dog harnesses, leashes, guide and mobility equipment, and other essential supplies at no cost.

Training Access Fund

Financial barriers shouldn't prevent disabled people from pursuing appropriate service dog training. Through donor-funded assistance, we aim to connect eligible individuals with qualified trainers and cover the cost of training classes tailored to their needs.
